Procedure
1. Gathered materials
2. Badminton court was set up (net and poles were set up to regulation)
3. Video camera was set up and angled towards the player hitting the shots
4. Players warmed up and started to hit the bird.
5. Video recording begins.
6. Players hit 20 clears to each other (only 1 player is recorded)
7.Players hit drop shots. The player being recorded hits 10 drop shots while the other feeds back with lifts. The players switch sides and same process is repeated.
8. Players hit smashes. The player being recorded hits 10 smashes while the other defends and feeds back with lifts. players switch sides and same process is repeated.
9. Video recording is stopped.
10. Video was watched and clips showing clear point of impact and velocity of swing were chosen and put into another video.
11. Video was analyzed regarding point of impact, using Dartfish software, and velocity of swing, with Logger Pro.
